The other railroad through Wapello IA was the Muscatine North & South, also known as the Burlington, Muscatine and Northwestern, which had tracks between Muscatine and Burlington. The MN&S Wapello depot still stands, greatly modified. It was relocated from the corner of Isett Ave and Hwy #61 to a location on Townsend Ave several blocks east of Hwy #61. The depot in the photo is not the MN&S depot, which had a hip roof.

The depot marked CB&Q Wapello, looks very similar to the BCR&N depots in that part of Iowa. http://www.burlington-cedarrapids-and-northern.8m.com/custom3.html Note the roof brackets and the board n batten siding.
