The heavy set guy looking toward the head end of the train is either the Trainmaster or a Special Agent...Sun glasses weight the evidence toward special agent. Just a little "side comment" which is worth exactly what it cost.

A semi-streamlined car built for use on the North Coast Limited as the Q's contribution before the NCL was streamlined in 1947. This shows it after it received the ribbon-style lettering that replaced the Q's Railroad Roman lettering. Though, semi-streamlined, it is pretty ungainly looking!
