[CBQ] XM21 to XM23 boxcars

Hi 

I just joined the group to do some research on boxcars.  I model in TT scale.  

We have a 'copy' of an Accurail single sheathed boxcar with Z section trusses 
and composite ends, done by a Russian manufacturer and I'm trying to work out 
what I can use it for, as it's a nice piece of work.  It's principally a 
Canadian vehicle, apparently.  

However, having read an article in Feb 1993 'Rail Model Journal' about the 
Accurail HO car which gave a bit of information on a few series that the Q 
owned, I thought I should do some digging.  

I am trying to work out the height of these cars as the information in the RMJ 
showed one car, 131409,  as being very low slung but said that the 
132000-132249 series were built as large capacity grain cars and matched the 
Canadian cars height, which I think was 9' or so. It's hard to work out what 
the RMJ article says about the low slung car as they muddled up the caption:

I do not know if all the single sheathed Q boxcars with composite/single 
sheathed ends were all 9' inner height?  Maybe someone can confirm that?
