I agree with Doug as have seen similar views in misc RR books. My guess it was traveling over CB&Q enroute to another RR. Over the years a lot of unusual equipment travels over any one RR as bridge traffic. It's possible too CB&Q was having a demo but the lack of any Q markings make it a visitor, not a part of the roster. Indeed the absence of any markings seem to indicate a new piece of equipment being delivered somewhere. Possibly an industry or shortline on the Q? Gerald __._,_.___
