Bill, The last time I traveled through Wellsville,Mo I stopped at the Q Depot which had been moved to a lot on the main drag about half a mile from the old roadbed.  There was a phone number on the door and the fellow who answered was happy to come down and show us around.  All the depots on this line were identical.  I may have already told the list the story about the Liege-Bellflower depot but since I have senior citizen status, I am allowed to repeat myself.  Stay tuned for more about this humorous story.  Archie

Bill as you can see the depot is the same as the one over in the Martinsburg's park if you want to get a good look at one.

I'm sure I've seen a Howard D. Killam  Collection photos somewhere.  Didn't the society do a Bulletin with the Short Line in it?

Ken,

I can't thank you enough!!  While I had the info from the Corporate history, the link to the RR Gazette  article was priceless.  I had never seen the article and the photos were amazing.   The article answers several key questions we had about the construction and fills in some gaps for us as well as provides new information on the construction we never new existed.

Thanks to you our archives on the CB&Q are much better today than ever.  Camp Creek bridge was just east of the New
Truxton Station.

Thanks for taking your valuable time to help me out.  I extend my appreciation to you on behalf of our Warren County MO Historical Society !!
