First off there are no dates. One problem with TO(Train Order) operations and the biggest hazard was complacently. Often the same crews ran the same district each day and did the same thing every day. The train dispatcher was as much in the wrong as they would put out the same order every day often with the same number and address or the train crew would look in registers and look only for the train id and not the dates trying to move too fast KILLS. You had to check every detail. The first order is a simple right over and wait order and basically sets up a schedule for extra trains. The second order is a meet order and until the 4000 identified the 5000 at Clearmont the 4000 could not move. What was needed was a order annulling the the meet in order for the third order to be any good. 36 years a train dispatcher from train orders thru track warrants and then computer track warrants plus Rule 251 and CTC Steve in SC From: Winton <wyhog@yahoo.com> To: CBQ@yahoogroups.com Sent: Fri, April 19, 2013 11:32:09 PM Subject: [CBQ] Train orders While we are on the subject of train orders, here is a scenario for you that actually occurred. __._,_.___
