Speaking from the point of view of a corporate support tech and, having to deal with this sort of stuff 24/7/365 for over 20 years, please forgive if this sounds kinda frustrated.

Most email and anti virus spam filters are about 98% reliable. If it dumps it in the spam folder, DON'T OPEN IT, there is more than likely a very good reason it ended up there.

And, even if it was a mistake, more than likely its because the person sending it did something that made it look like spam (no subject, one line body saying "Hey look at this!" with a link and nothing else, etc). The sender needs to learn how to send email properly. If the ask why you haven't responded, tell them to send it again. Usually when they have to do it again, they do it right.

Last, before I step off the soap box, get a GOOD anti virus/spam blocker. That usually means a paid for one, not a freebie, like Avast! or Panda. Trust me, I've been doing this long enough to know that the freebie ones are not much better than a bandaid on a knife wound. They will only catch the most obvious of intrusions.

Yes  I got scammed over night.  I opened a e-mail in my spam folder from this list on a current subject.  Password is now changed.  Bud Linroth

As long as people keep falling for it, they'll keep doing it. Then they'll move on to a different scam.

Thanks!

I wonder who is behind this scam.  It is sure getting tiresome.

Hope you get that arm fixed . . .er, Ralph. Tell the hotel mamanger that the cash is in the mail and maybe he'll let you go. Practice your English a little bit before you write your next sob story. We've heard this line before. We were born a long time ago, but we weren't born stupid!

I need help urgently, Though, I suffer little injury on my left arm. I have talked with the hotel manager but she insist they don't accept a third party credit card. She further explained that the only method of payment they accept at the moment is cash.
