A couple of us are having a discussion about the full-width diaphragms applied to the post-war Zephyr trainsets and the question arose as to how these consists were amplied with additional equipment as needed. That is, could narrow diaphragm cars be mated cars with full-width disphragms? Or were all of the lightweight cars initially equipped with full-width diaphragms? A related question, I suppose, is when were the full-width diaphragms removed? Thanks, Bob Herrick ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
