The company was Olfactory Airs from Mikros (?) in Minneapolis. IRC, the owner 
'used' essences from the 3M fragrance library in Minneapolis. 3M had an 
odor/smell/fragrance for everything you can imagine. 

It was a phenomenal product. Short lived. Coal smoke was unreal in its 
accuracy. Their display layout coupled with a PFM sound system and location 
sound made a surreal experience in the 1980's.
