There was a GALESBURG rebuilt in Aurora shops in 1875 to Pullman Plan 13B from a Plan 7 car ATLANTIC built in 1867. As Barger indicates the Plan as 13 to 13-B, it is highly possible that the refurbishment/remodel happened near 1888. In 1901, a diner was built for the CB&Q named GALESBURG. In 1917 a 10-1-2 steel sleeper was built for assignment on the CB&Q named GALESBURG. I would have to assume (with all that that entails) we're talking about the 1867 sleeper that may have been refurbished in or near 1888. I have no records of that, and unfortunately, I'm unaware of records that would show it (possibly at the Newberry Library, not at the Pullman Library). It would have to be a Pullman record, as the relevant CB&Q records likely burned. The Pullman records might also be at Princeton (in NJ), as they have received a large cache of early Pullman material. I think it pretty obvious all 3 were named for the town, all three were owned or assigned to the CB&Q. At 12:06 PM 1/6/2013, Dave Lotz wrote: Hi Folks, __._,_.___
