I don't know for sure what her thoughts were, but her vocal expressions indicated that she thought it was pretty stupid.
On another occasion during my days in the Freight Claims department I worked with another ex operating guy...Trainmaster and then Rules Examiner...
He was out with one of the Claim Prevention guys who was not the brightest bulb in the chandeler and was totally obliviouos to anything operatng wise..It was coming up to mealtlime for the guys and Jim gave his cohort the "go eat sign"...You know...the one with the hands extended and the thumbs turned up...
The response was an an insulting response indicating that the guy thought that he was being given the "middle finger wave"
