I think these would be worth recording for history in a future Bulletin.  I am in Chicago right now but  when I get back home next week I'll run it past Bryan and the Board to see if the concur

Maybe these would make an article for the Bulletin.   I have some interesting correspondence from the Newberry that could be added.   I could help get scout up some illustrations and transcribe them for easier reading.

Makes you wonder if Pullman was involved, didn't they use the Palace
terminology? Palace cars for hogs and cattle might have been somewhat
politically incorrect. I have more of these Master Mechanic
directives and will try to post them from time to time. Some of them
pertain to disposition of locomotives as well as alterations. These
files cover the period from 1913 to 1915.
