The Q had 10 original USRA 0-6-0 locomotives, numbered 500 - 509. I found a photo of no. 504 after it had been sold to Northwest Steel and Wire for scrap. They used it as one of their plant switchers for a while. In the photo, it has an unusual tender coal bunker which matches a Sunset O scale model that I recently purchased. It is not the standard USRA tender and it is not like other modified tenders on Q USRA 0-6-0s. Here is a link to the photo at NWS&W. http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/Locopicture.aspx?id=128711 Does anyone know where I can find a photo of the same locomotive while it was in service on the Q? I would like to confirm that the tender, as shown at NWS&W, was also used by the Q so I can use the model as is. BTW, the photo in RR Photo Archives is, for some reason, for sale right now on EBay. It may be a copy. Bill Barber Gravois Mills, MO ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
