I'm guessing that what you and Ken are referring to is one of the boarding cars built by the railroad at Aurora in the early 1890s for company service and depicted in the 1895 Car Builder's Dictionary.  See attached image from that publication.

Rupert,

This car appears similar to 210956 on page 68 which the title says is a CW modified for M/W service. However 210956 is not listed in the roster as modified from a CW, also it is not in Glicks passenger car roster. 
I wonder if it was modified from one of the 14xxx cars before the 1904 renumbering.

Behind the wrecked locos is a clerestory-roofed car with a cupola, similar to a CW type waycar, but with 6 windows equally spaced along the side.  It appears to bear a six digit road number beginning with "2", the MoW numbering series from 1904 onwards.
