I have never known the Q to employ ACS in locations other than those mentioned.

As an aside, the UP cab sigmals were compatible with the CB&Q system so, when running with a UP engine in the lead and weather conditions caused poor visibility, I've "heard" that the some guy's would cut the UP equipment in and use the in-cab display as an adjunct to the wayside signals.  Of course the system was not to be considered operationally reliable if it had not been checked on a cab signal test loop, within cab signal territory, prior to entering said territory.

At Aurora, before push-pull, when an engine was cut off and turned on the Aurora TT it was necessary to activate the cab signal test loop when comming off the west end of the table.
