From what i have gather from other yahoo groups the units were on a coal empty at monroe michagan on friday and at the last minute the train was diverted from running to pennsylania for and was sent to wyoming for a load. A s the train past through chicago early on saturday morning the power was not removed but continued west across the galesburg and ottumwa sub and west to linclonarriving sometime early sunday morning. The power was then removed from the coal empty and put on the linclon to luarel freight train which is the train they are currently on. I don't know the routing of this train between the two pionts but i do know they did not go to denver.

This presumably means they have already passed through Denver enroute to Alliance and on northwest to Laurel.  If they were heading west to Denver before turning north up the Front Range Sub, they would not make it to Laurel by mid-day tomorrow.

I just heard that two of the NS heritage units are around Brush Colorado and are due into Laurel Montana tomorrow noon.
