Duncan,
A 1962 track chart shows it is just a siding within the West Quincy
yard limits.
The oldest Hannibal Division Employee Timetable I have is ETT #77
effective April 28, 1940. It shows Lowrie with no office, but with a
80 car siding and 52 car capacity on other tracks. By ETT #89
effective September 28, 1947, it had a 74 car siding and 46 car
capacity on other tracks.
With ETT #90 effective July 11, 1948, Lowrie just had a 45 car
siding.
With ETT #2 effective April 29, 1962, Lowrie is no longer shown.
None of the employee timetables showed at office there. I have a
1929 Bullinger's Shipping Guide and there is no listing of Lowrie as
a station.

Hi all!
Can anyone tell me anything about
Lowrie Missouri? It's listed on K-line timetables just north
of West Quincy and south of LaGrange.
It doesn't seem to have had an
office and may have been nothing more than a siding. I can't
even find reference to a community of that name.
