The Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden has reached an agreement with the City of Boulder that their train will be displayed at the museum. C&S 74 (later RGS 74) has been cosmetically restored as
Colorado & Northwestern 30 and is now on display at the museum with
D&RGW coach 280 and D&RGW caboose 04990. The train is still owned by Boulder, but since it was removed from the downtown park for possible restoration for the Georgetown Loop, the display site has been put to other use. The train can now be seen at the museum. It is restored as C&NW 30 because that was the road serving Boulder and also the original owner of the 2-8-0.
