Last I saw the original it hung in Lincoln in the General supt. office. They remodelled the Lincoln Depot. Last Year I contacted the Art Archive Curator at BNSF she replyed she did not have the painting in the collection. When I saw it it was in bad shape. Discolored GREATLY from cigarette smoke and paint was flaking off. I hope it found a good home. Probably in an employee's basement.  That's what I know............ Tim

Thank you for your generous review, Lee. Renascence was a labor of
love. I was fortunate to have access to a laboratory-grade 36-bit
11x17 scanner at the time and was able to make very high resolution,
color-corrected scans.

As it turns out, I now live 30 miles from BNSF headquarters, and in
the near future I hope to visit their visitors' center and see if I
can learn anything about the fate of the original painting.

Randy
