There was a cab at the Ham house museum many years ago

About ten years ago it was move but never heard where.Ill.try to find out where.They said it didnt fit in with the river transportation themes.
I thought OK ,with Dubuque served by the CB&Q,IC,MILW,and theCGW,i guess a caboose just wouldnt "fit"in.
At the river center,there is a "faux" CB&Q depot,supposedly constructed with some of the old freight house.Might be worth a peek,but.Ive never been there.
At the American Trust bank in downtown Dubuque is an old photo back when the "Q"would lay track across the ice mid winter,avoiding using the IC bridge and the associated charges.Enjoy your visit to Dubuque.
