There was a warning on the STMFC group about the website, but investigations 
indicated that this was no longer a threat.

Hart coal/ballast car 71404 was part of 71400-71799 built by AC&F in 1906 (this 
car is stencilled for Detroit 2/06), and they were 
renumbered to 218500-218899 in 1909 as ballast cars.  (Therefore no longer 
shown in the Equipment Register)  Some of these cars were 
rebuilt with steel centre sills/underframe in (I think) 1910, and were classed 
as MWB-3 or MW-4 for the rebuilds in the same year. 
I have not been able to identify just how many were rebuilt.

There were 27 of these cars left in 1920, and just 7 in 1930, so I doubt that 
they lasted just too much longer.
