They were probably gone by 1940 but remember they were renumbered into the 21xxxx series and not all company service cars are shown in the ORER. I did not know of this kit so have not built it. The CB&Q did buy 400 Rodgers Ballast cars in 1905. They were numbereed 71400-71799 and are shown in my 1910 ORER, however they are not in my 1940 ORER.
