BN 11052 was CB&Q 14251 (NE-1) built at Plattsmouth in 1901 as B&MR 163.  It was sold in March 1976 to Richard Powell.

Checking today, I see where some of the recent messages have been titled "Surviving CB & Q Way Cars". It's hard to believe but the last I knew (within the last two years), there is an old CB &Q  iconic wooden 4-window Way Car behind an unoccupied farmhouse within a mile or so of Brookfield, Missouri. I am attaching photos.

I understand this Way Car was built in 1901 for the Burlington & Missouri River.
