Although I am a member of this group, and occasionally contribute, I do not read the messages every day. Rather, it is more like once a week.

Checking today, I see where some of the recent messages have been titled "Surviving CB & Q Way Cars". It's hard to believe but the last I knew (within the last two years), there is an old CB &Q  iconic wooden 4-window Way Car behind an unoccupied farmhouse within a mile or so of Brookfield, Missouri. I am attaching photos.

For more complete discussions please contact me off-line.

I understand this Way Car was built in 1901 for the Burlington & Missouri River.

Best of 2012 to all of you.
