According to The Colorado Road, there was a FW&D caboose numbered 101, built by Pullman in 1888 and converted from
baggage-mail-coach #26 in December 1951. It was retired in March 1970.
Passenger car #101 was a 70' 8" baggage car built in 1922, rebuilt in 1929, and converted to a tool car in 1968.
