<*>[Attachment(s) from Randy Gordon-Gilmore included below] Hi all, Does anyone know of an actual photographic image of the attached? It has appeared in numerous publications (starting, I think, with the 1934 flyer "Wings to the Iron Horse") but is always halftoned to a greater or lesser extent. Image processing technology has progressed lately to the point where the freeware Gimp software has an available plugin that does forward and reverse Fast Fourier processing, but even with that I have not been able to descreen the image to the point were I'm happy with it. So if anyone has an actual, never-been-halftone-screened copy of the image please get in touch with me. I have a crazy idea to do an actual 3D bas-relief of it, but need a clean image to start from...
