I hope that each and every one of you had
a wonderful Thanksgiving Day! I’m
thankful for all of the participants on this list and for how well behaved you
all are.
I’ve been watching a couple of other
groups who have activated the new Attachments option and I believe that it is
working well for them, so much so that I've decided to allow attachments with
emails to the CBQ group. This
should make it easier/faster to share information.
Yahoo allows the moderator to decide
whether the "attachments" are mailed to everyone, or whether only a
LINK to the attachment is sent. I opted for the link, so obviously no one's
inbox will get clogged -- To view the attachment all you have to do is click on
the link in your email. If anyone
experiences issues with this let me know.
There is an "attachments" directory in the BBFCL Yahoo web site, where
all attachments are placed. It's possible that over time it may be necessary
for me to clean up that directory, so attachments should not be considered as
permanently in the archive.
