Charlie,

Thanks for the suggestion.  I do have three of Bill Glick's books (which I 
think is all that he authored).  I do see the placement of many drum heads, but 
I haven't seen any mention if, and when, they were illuminated.  As a side 
note, I met your NZ friend, Rupert, and his lovely wife.  Rupert mentioned what 
a great help you have been to him.  He really appreciates your service.  Thanks 
again.

If you reference Bill Glick's books on CB&Q Passenger Equipment I am sure 
your questions will be answered. Mine are packed away at the moment but if 
you are interested in Q passenger equipment you should add them to your 
library.
