I looked through several Zephyr books last night, and the best I can find so
far is that the conversion date for twin headlights was probably between
1944 and 1952. That's quite a range, but I'm hoping to be able to narrow it
down.

The latest photo I've found of #9903 with the low headlight was 1937 (no
month shown) when it was the Advanced Denver Zephyr, and
the next photo found was 1951.
I note that #9908 was delivered in about March 1939 with the low headlight.
Presumably, if the raised headlight was being
retro-fitted to Zephyr units, #9908 would have been delivered with one?
There are plenty of photos taken in about 1940 in Bulletin
13 of other Zephyr units with the low headlight.
