List, As some of you may be aware, the E5 units built by Oriental Limited had issues with their drive gears. They were made out of Delrin and press fit on, introducing tension. Many of these gears "snapped" just sitting on the shelf from the tension. I understand that Northwest Short Line had replacement gears for fixing these. This is the one I belive comes closest to what I am looking for: 326-6 HO SAM 25T gear 9.4 OD 2.5 shaft – EMD E-units (2) These were Samhongsa models for Oriental Limited. Has anyone done this repair that can confirm I have the right number? I'm trying to fix a few E5 units. Rich G.
