Tom:

I am the source of that truck diagram book, and it was not produced by the BRHS
but by my publishing firm, Motive Power Services. It, along with a later
edition, form the basis for the data sheet I have put together, with photos
added wherever possible. Photos of the earlier trucks are tough to find,
however. And, as noted earlier in this discussion, the railroad seemed to stop
preparing truck diagrams by the 1960s, so there simply aren't any for the
railroad's final decade.

Hol,

I have a truck diagram book that I thought was put out by the historical
society. I purchased it in 1988, it is titled "Burlington Route Diagram Book,
Trucks 1930." It is rather thick and covers trucks starting with Truck #1
through #115. I have used it in scratch building several trucks as the diagrams
are for both freight and passenger cars and locomotive tenders. And often there
is enough information to build an accurate model such as it may show the
thickness and width of the straps on arch bar trucks.
