Yea well, what I remember most was the ham and mothers. The ham and eggs
without heat tabs were awful ! But pound cake and peaches was worth fighting
for.

Your right. The crackers would make great clay pigeons. You would have to
use double ought buck to break them however. My wife loves her P-38 in the
kitchen. Beats any electric can opener by far.
We use to take the bread pack with was half baked dough, mush it out in ½
of the mess kit, put in a can of the spiced beef then heat over a bit of
C-4. Made great field pizza. If we had a bottle of tobassco sauce it really
made it good.

Your mind must be suppressing any memory of the crackers. They were
inedible, they might make a nice clay pigeon except they would never
