That sure looks like Batavia, IA to me - but I'm not sure which one - the original (B&MR) or the Ft. Madison & Northwestern (a narrow gauge later absorbed into the Burlington). Given the signals, think it is the former, though - looking towards Ottumwa. I have postcard views of this, plus the "Peavine" book at home, I'll check when I get there. N. L.
