The ROW for the C&NW line on the east side of the Fox river ran directly
behind the spring meet site at Riverview Banquets. The Batavia historical
Society and depot museum has several shots of all the RRs in Batavia, except
for the Q depot on the West Batavia/Geneva branch. I contacted their
archivists after the spring meet and was advised they would love to have a
photo
of that depot.

Also the book "Historic Batavia" has some coverage of the C&NW east side
track. There is some discussion and I believe at least one photo of cars
that "got away" from the switch crew and ended up on Wilson St.

Until the late 50s when American Can built south of downtown, the only
Batavia Industry on the Q was located near the depot. For a great aerial view
go to Country House restaurant at the corner of Fabyan Parkway and Kirk Rd
in Batavia. In the waiting area is a wall covered with a photo of Batavia
in the 40s.
