To my knowledge in the post-WWII era, CB&Q tank cars were either black (a 
handful of newer tankcars in interchange as well as some MoW) or MoW orange.

MT made a Q tank car that was painted brown. I think it is the only tanker thay 
have made. I don't have any other info on the car. I am sure some of you know 
which car I am writing about. What would the prototype of this car been used 
for? What did the Q use brown tank cars for?
