Hi, Rupert, I hope this email finds you and Maureen in good health. We have shared our photos and experiences of NZ with many folks back in the states. One couple is planning a trip to NZ this November. Everyone is glad to hear what friendly and lovely people the Kiwis are. I will miss the Burlington spring meet as Louise and I are going to be in California for a wedding. If possible, I would like to view the information about the dredge on the Mississippi River. What is the latest news coming from Christchurch? Take care. I've now found an article from 1911 that details the Burlington's suction dredge that was used to improve the east bank of the Mississippi when the second track was being built. If anyone has a particular interest in this article (which includes plans and photos of the dredge) contact me off List.
