Good to hear it can be done and it looks good. How did you cut off the cast on
panels?

I did this a couple of years ago. I did not change the roof, if wrong
I'll live with it. It was a job to cut off the cast on panels. There
is also a wide board on the side that should be trimmed down, which I
didn't do. When done it looks good if not totally correct.
Mainline Modeler ran plans of a CB&Q SM-18 stock car than had two
articles on scratchbuilding one. First article was in the Sep 91
isssue. Then there was a four part article from Oct 91 thru May 92
issues.
