Doug,  I found some waybills from the 1960s and they were for car  
loads of hogs going from Carthage Ill to Baltimore , Md.  Instructions  
on waybill say Feed at Clyde,Ill at carriers convenience.  also Clean  
car furnished,  for immediate slaughter, and shower in transit where  
possible.  This same station also had several waybills for bedding  
sand, I wonder if the sand was placed on the floor of the stock cars?
