this information came right from the safety directer for DCCI steel
erectors.right know the corp of engineers has the river closed do to lock and
dam work going on in the area.they work is to end about the same time febraury
15,2001 so the river can be totally open to brage traffic

just posted nine more pictrues to the bridge photos.pictures 65-69 will look a
little fuzzy as they were taken this afternoon in a little snow shower.picture
69 is a close up look at the west tower couter weight and as far as i know they
still have to be filled with concerte to bring them up to the correct
wieght.another piece of information was gotten this past week in that the
bridge is to be operational by february 15,2001
