Hi there Unfortunately for me, we had to postpone the proposed trip along the main line from Fort Morgan to Chicao0 from 2007 to 2008 and the depot at Buda was lost in November 2007. After studying the photos in William J Manon gallery, I have deduced that the following. Size 50ft * 25 ft. Height to roof line 10ft. Bay window projected 1-2 ft in front of the main wall. Front corner was 11-12ft from the track The brick plinth was 10 courses high (american bond every five courses?) Brick corner pillars are 3 bricks in each direction. My questions are. 1. Was the depot basically a timber framed building? 2. Was the brick plinth was on the outside of the frame? 3. What was the roof made of? 4. Was the brick plinth capped with a course of stone work? 5. Were the timber frames at 2ft intervals? Was there another CB&Q building towards the Seed merchant and tucked away in the undergrowth? I have 2 photos of an extremley tatty , derelict building which looks very similar in construction to the Manon photos of the depot.
