I don't think so. IIRC only ATSF FTs were delivered with couplers between the units... they were designed to be drawbarred together. In fact, unless specially equipped or modified FTA and FTB units could not work by themselves because some shared components were in either the A or B unit. On the CB&Q the units stayed drawbarred together... in fact, I think the FT/F2 sets were set up that way as well. The F2s were couplered at some point but it appears that at least some, if not all, of them were in A-B-A FT/F2 sets connected with drawbars. Not sure about the configuration of the FT A-B-B-A sets as delivered. Charlie Vlk Were the FT's ever broken down into single units or just AB sets? I know they started out with drawbars and there were some sets broken up and matched with F2's. . [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
