I'm surprised this has taken this long to come up.
The lettering is new, it was put there on orders of a BNSF employee /
official who is also a fan. His supervisor saw it, wondered about
it, though that it was a good idea, in terms of keeping the trademark
alive. Metra was not as happy, but they had absolutely no say in
that matter given the sequence of events and ownership. It is official.
Looking at the first message, posted in Dec. that makes a bit more
sense how it took so long to be taken up!
