Hi Jack I know about the Ft Madison to Stockport line and that is why the Title of the book is "A History of the ILLINOIS Pea Vine. I think every state has a line they call the pea vine and probably other railroads in Iowa and Illinois also had their pea vine. The one thing about the Savanna to Galesburg branch, it was called the pea vine 60 years ago and is still called the pea vine today. If you go the the BNSF dispatching center in Ft Worth today and ask where the pea vine is they will tell you Galesburg to Savanna. R. W. Madison to Stockport, Iowa as the Pea Vine. Jack Ferris [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
