The site I looked at about the history of the Bridgeport area called the area northwest of Bridgeport as "the lumber area". The "Q" was not identified as serving the area, but the "Pennsy" was. Were there lumber mills in the area? I know Chicago had a history of being a furniture manufacturing area. --- On Mon, 6/14/10, Bill Angus <wja410@gmail.com> wrote: From: Bill Angus <wja410@gmail.com> Subject: Re: [CBQ] CBQ near Bridgeport., Chicago To: CBQ@yahoogroups.com Date: Monday, June 14, 2010, 7:36 PM I thought that it was the Lumber Street District. It serves the industries along Lumber St, near the South approach to CUS. -- Bill Angus Chicago, IL [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
