[CBQ] Con-Cor Twin Headlight Zephyr

In case not everyone got the word, Con-Cor is coming out with the TWIN 
HEADLIGHT PIONEER ZEPHYR in both HO and N guage - it is due out in the fall. It 
will have updated lettering, working mars lights front and back. Check out the 
web site and the video, it looks great!

 

I sent them an email to find out if they are going to finish the model in a 
FLAT SILVER PAINT (like the original version they did) or upgrade it to a 
plated finish like the Broadway Ltd California Zephyr cars. Wouldn't that be 
great if they do the plated finish? I strongly suggested that they upgrade it 
to the plated finish, even if it means passing the costs on to us consumers, it 
would be well worth it.

 

If anyone on the list has direct contacts at Con-Cor, perhaps you can get them 
to plate it. 

 

Others may also want to email Con-Cor about this as well. The more individuals 
that ask about an upgrade in the finish, the better chance we will have. So it 
would be a win-win for everyone. Do it this week.
