Thread-topic: [CBQ] KCZ/TCZ Microscale 87-1184 Decals
Rory,

You are correct - I was quite disappointed to discover this. I am using these
now for my TCZ, and had to cut each BURLINGTON into pairs of letters to trim
just a little off of the spacing between the pairs of letters. I found I could
at least avoid cutting out each letter individually and still not notice any
difference in the spacing between the letters. Doing two letters at a time
makes it easier to keep the lettering straight, at least for me.
Unfortunately, this method doesn't really leave the correct spacing between the
ends of the letterboard and the first and last letters, but to me that was
preferable to either a noticeable difference in the spacing between letters or
having to place letters individually.

Scott Myers

I just got around to decaling my Shoreham KCZ. Someone had suggested 87-1184
from Microscale. Nice, BUT, the B U R L I N G T O N that goes on the
letterboard is too long! It doesn't fit! Any creative suggestions? (Yes, I know
I could cut it up and do each letter individually - that is a last resort and
one I probably wouldn't do. Just couldn't keep it straight enough and evenly
spaced.)

Thanks for any suggestions/alternatives.

Rory
