Yes I remember the numbers. Usually up the corner next to the vestibule (if
applicable.) They had the road initial and the roster number painted on with
black paint, in a simple font. I think it may have applied to only CZ cars and
may have been a WP or Rio Grande added touch. I know I have photos of cars
somewhere with the numerals shown.
