Commuter coaches on the Ak Sar Ben Zephyr in 1965 (was Re: [CBQ] Re: CB&Q â??Night Crawlerâ??)

Since apparently nobody else actually read the caption on the photo:

"Note the new gallery car cut in third car back. The CB&Q was in the process of 
receiving new bi-level commuter coaches from Budd around this time, including 
six with control cabs to initiate push-pull service on the Chicago-Aurora 
commuter line. In order to avoid Illinois state sales tax, the new cars were 
routed from the builder to Lincoln, Nebraska, weighed, and returned to Chicago 
on the next available train."
