Brian, While I don't have an assignment sheet for the Q in that time period, I believe that all of the GE's were assigned to Lincoln Shop for maintenance. Early on, Lincoln specialized in GE training and maintenance. This continued on into the BN era. As the GE fleet grew, other shops were also assigned GE units and, of course, if needed all shops could work on them.
