Hi List,
I wish my relatives were still alive, as they would have enjoyed the recent
postings! One uncle worked at Barber-Greene his entire working life, and was
proud of it. Another uncle, my Grandfather and even my Dad (for a short time)
all worked for the CB&Q in Aurora. I remember my uncle's stories about working
(as a brakeman) on the West Chicago and Batavia/Mooseheart lines on what he
called "milk runs". This was back in the 1930's and 40's.
